Our Coaching Partnership: Terms and Expectations

Welcome to Navigate Weightloss with Deby. This Client Agreement outlines the terms, expectations, and commitments for our coaching relationship. Clear communication and mutual understanding are essential foundations for a successful partnership. Please review this document carefully before beginning any coaching program.

Coaching Agreement

Effective Date

This agreement becomes effective upon your enrollment in any Navigate Weightloss with Deby program or service.

Services Description

Navigate Weightloss with Deby provides health coaching services focused on sustainable weight loss through mindset transformation, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle modification. Services may include but are not limited to:

– One-on-one coaching sessions
– Group coaching programs
– Customized meal and fitness plans
– Educational resources and materials
– Email and messaging support
– Access to online communities and resources

The specific services included in your program will be detailed in your program enrollment materials.

Client Responsibilities

Commitment to the Process

As a client, you agree to:

1. Participate actively and honestly in all coaching sessions
2. Complete agreed-upon actions between sessions
3. Provide accurate information about your health history and current status
4. Take responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
5. Notify your coach of any changes in your health status
6. Respect scheduled appointment times
7. Maintain open communication about what is and isn’t working
8. Approach the process with an open mind and willingness to change

Medical Disclaimer

You acknowledge that:

1. Your coach is not a licensed medical professional, dietitian, or therapist
2. Coaching services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
3. You will consult with appropriate healthcare providers regarding any health concerns
4. You will inform your healthcare provider about your participation in this coaching program
5. You assume full responsibility for your health and wellbeing during and after the coaching relationship

Coach Responsibilities

Professional Commitment

As your coach, I commit to:

1. Provide professional, respectful, and non-judgmental guidance
2. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with our Privacy Policy
3. Deliver all services outlined in your program description
4. Respond to communications within stated timeframes
5. Provide evidence-based information and resources
6. Respect your autonomy and right to make your own decisions
7. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
8. Continue my professional development to better serve you

Scope of Practice

I acknowledge that:

1. I am not licensed to diagnose or treat medical conditions
2. I will refer you to appropriate healthcare providers when issues arise outside my scope of practice
3. I will not prescribe specific diets, medications, or treatments
4. My guidance is educational and supportive in nature

Program-Specific Terms

The Emergence by Deby (Flagship Program)

– 12 weeks of intensive coaching followed by 3 months of maintenance support
– Weekly one-on-one coaching sessions (45-60 minutes each)
– Customized nutrition and fitness guidance
– Unlimited email support (48-hour response time)
– Access to private community forum
– All program materials and resources

Specialized Coaching Packages

– Program duration as specified in enrollment materials
– Coaching sessions as outlined in program description
– Email support with response time as specified in program details
– Program-specific resources and materials
– Additional services as detailed in program enrollment

Group Coaching Programs

– Fixed program duration as specified in enrollment materials
– Weekly group coaching sessions
– Limited email support as specified in program details
– Shared resources and materials
– Community forum access

Payment and Refund Policies

Payment Terms

– Full payment or initial installment due upon enrollment
– Payment plans available as outlined in program enrollment materials
– Accepted payment methods:

Refund Policy

– 100% satisfaction guarantee for the first 14 days of flagship program
– Pro-rated refunds available within first 30 days based on services rendered
– No refunds available after 30 days or for completed services
– Digital products and downloadable resources are non-refundable once accessed

Scheduling and Cancellation

Appointment Scheduling

– Sessions must be scheduled using our online booking system
– Appointments subject to coach availability
– Recurring appointments can be arranged for the duration of your program

Cancellation Policy

– 24-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling
– Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) count as a completed session
– No-shows count as a completed session
– Emergencies handled on a case-by-case basis
– Coach cancellations will be rescheduled at client’s earliest convenience

Confidentiality

Privacy Commitment

– All client information is kept strictly confidential
– Information shared in sessions remains private
– Client information will not be shared without explicit permission
– Exceptions to confidentiality include:
– Risk of harm to self or others
– Suspected abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult
– Legal requirement or court order
– Client-authorized release of information

Data Protection

– Client data is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy
– Electronic records are secured with appropriate safeguards
– Client has right to access their personal information upon request

Intellectual Property

Copyright and Usage

– All materials, resources, and content provided are the intellectual property of Navigate Weightloss with Deby
– Materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without permission
– Client testimonials and success stories may be used for promotional purposes with explicit permission

Termination of Services

By Client

– Client may terminate services at any time by providing written notice
– Refunds subject to refund policy outlined above
– Unused sessions expire 90 days after termination unless otherwise arranged

By Coach

– Coach may terminate services if:
– Client violates terms of this agreement
– Coach believes client would be better served by another provider
– Coach is unable to provide requested services
– Continuation of services would be unethical or illegal
– Written notice will be provided
– Referrals to alternative providers will be offered when appropriate

Limitation of Liability

Legal Disclaimer

– Coach makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or results
– Client assumes full responsibility for their decisions and actions
– Coach is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from coaching services
– Maximum liability limited to fees paid for services

Modifications to Agreement

Changes to Terms

– Terms may be modified with written notice to clients
– Current agreement always available on website
– Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of new terms

Governing Law

Legal Jurisdiction
